My name is Bethany Brown, and I’ve been a professional photographer since 2008. My passion for photography was sparked more than 15 years ago when I enrolled in a black-and-white film class as a college elective. What began as a creative experiment quickly became a life-changing discovery, guiding me toward a career where art and storytelling converge.
What I love most about photography is the process—the magic that happens between an idea and its realization. It begins with pre-visualizing an image, composing it through the lens, and bringing it to life in tangible form. Photography allows me to use my mind as a sketchpad, my eyes to frame the moment, and my hands to shape light into something timeless and meaningful.
